Mrs. Elizabeth CAVINESS, daughter of Isaac and Elizabeth M. (PENDLUM) GALLIHER, born Gosport, Ind. Nov. 21, 1849, and died at her home in Batavia, Iowa, Mar. 24, 1922. Came to Iowa with her parents in early days; married Dec. 18, 1867.

Nine children, two with the husband have preceded her in death. They are Lydia D. and Isaac L. Living: Mrs. Etta E. PILLERS of Iowa City, Mrs. Elnora E. FULTON, Samuel H., Mrs. Nellie M. WALKER, Miss Frances Maud, Mrs. Myrtle G. BOYSEL, all of Batavia, and Albert S. of Key West, Florida.
