SELMA. Arthur S. CAMPBELL, 82, Selma farmer, died Mon. at Sunnyslope Extended Care Center in Ottumwa. Services Fri. Mt. Zion Methodist Church. Burial Batavia Cemetery. Pedrick Funeral Home, Douds.
Born Oct. 17, 1886, near Birmingham. Most of his life was spent on the farm in the Mt. Zion community between Selma and Libertyville. Married Florence RIPLEY in 1916; she died 1963. One son, Forrest, gave his life in the Korean War.
Surviving are four children: Maynard CAMPBELL, Galesburg, Ill.; Murl CAMPBELL, Des Moines; Mrs. Naomi BIGG, Ottumwa; and Mrs. Ruth SHIPLER, Berkeley, Calif.; 9 grchn, two grgrchn, and one sister, Mrs. Ethel MANNING, Fairfield.
