Geo. Fredrick BURNS, son of James & Nancy (or Martha WALKER?), born Hope Co., Ind., Aug. 4, 1866; died Apr. 28, 1924, at his home in Batavia; married Nov. 11, 1888 (in Jefferson County) Nina Isabelle BRADSHAW; eight children; three -- Mary Edith, Ross Edward, and Paul Herod preceded their father in death.

Surviving are wife and Wm. Emery BURNS of Batavia; Orval Clinton BURNS of Cushing, Okla.; Nellie Leota HENRY of Ottumwa; Glen Franklin BURNS and Adrion Donald BURNS of Batavia. Christian Church.... Bur. Batavia. (He was sexton).
