BATAVIA. Charles BROWN, 74, died Sun. evening at his home in Clarinda. Born 3 1/2 miles n.w. of Batavia and spent most of his early life in and near Batavia.

Survived by wife and two sons, also a brother Wm. BROWN of Creston, and a sister Mrs. Alice CLARK of Batavia. Bur. Clarinda.
