BATAVIA. John E. BOYSEL, 80, long time resident of the Batavia community, died Sat. Kirk Nursing Home, Agency. Campbell Funeral Home. Batavia Cemetery.

Born Dec. 26, 1882, in Jefferson County, son of Jacob & Leah WALKER BOYSEL. Farmed in Jefferson County most of his life until he moved to Batavia in 1956. Member Batavia Methodist Church. Oct. 20, 1907, married Myrtle CAVINESS; she survives, also three daughters, Mrs. George HIXSON, Junction City, Oregon; Mrs. Harold BENDER, Agency; Mrs. Maurice McNEIL, Batavia; two sons, Carl BOYSEL, Fairfield, and Paul BOYSEL, Batavia; 11 grandchildren and 7 greatgrandchildren. Preceded in death by one son, one daughter, and seven brothers.
