Funeral services will be held for Arch BLACK, 77, of Batavia, Sat. afternoon in the Campbell Funeral Home in Batavia. Burial will be in the Batavia Cemetery.

Died in Ottumwa Thurs. Son of George and Nancy BLACK and was born Dec. 2, 1865, near Batavia. Spent entire life in that community with the exception of four years in Ottumwa.

His first wife Mary, one son, Harvey, one daughter, Goldie, and three brothers and two sisters preceded him in death. Survived by second wife Viola, three sons, Ray of Danville, Clarence of Long Beach, Calif., and Weldy of Batavia; one daughter, Mrs. Mable HESTON, Batavia, and 10 grandchildren.
