Mrs. Sam BLACK, 80, lifelong resident of the Batavia community, died this morning at her home four miles s.e. of Batavia. Campbell Funeral Home. Batavia Cemetery.

Dehlah (sic)[transcriber's note - Delilah] BLACK was born Sept. 27, 1860, dau. of John & Mary OSBORNE RHODES, two miles west of the home where she died. Married in 1885. She was the last of a family of seven brothers and sisters. Preceded in death by husband Sam in July 1937.... Survivors....
