Death of Stephen E. BERRIER, 83, at the home of his son Dwight, who resides n.w. of Batavia, north of the Eldon Y, in Wapello County.

Born July 12, 1882, in Wapello County, son of Henry and Martha WALKER BERRIER. Spent his entire life in the Bladensburg community. Engaged in farming until his retirement. Married Pearl GARRETT in 1905. She died in August 1939.

Survived by his son, Dwight, Batavia; two grandchildren, four greatgrandchildren; one brother, Seth BERRIER, Las Cruces, N.M..; and a sister, Anna STAFFORD, Escondido, Calif. In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by one sister and two brothers.
