BATAVIA. Notes from Locust Grove... we were pained to learn of the death of Thomas AUSTIN, formerly residing near this place, but of late employed as fireman on the C. & S.W. RR. He was killed by the engine falling through a bridge. He was interred in the cemetery in this city with Masonic honors.
