BATAVIA. Mrs. Ralph AUGUSTINE, 76, died at her home four miles north of Batavia at 2 PM Sat. Campbell Funeral Chapel. Burial in Batavia Cemetery.

Muriel AUGUSTINE was born Dec. 31, 1895, near Richland, daughter of Valentine and Clara BOND FLEIG, and lived in Richland until moving to the Batavia community in 1937. Member Hopewell Friends Church; WWI Barracks Aux., and the Hickory Ridge Homemakers Club. Married Dec. 15, 1920.

Survivors include husband, two sons, Ivan of Sunnyvale, Calif., and Allan of Batavia; two daughters, Mrs. Russell GOTTMAN of Batavia, and Mrs. George MERRITT of Rapid City, S.D.; 7 grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. A. J. STEINBECK of Rubio. One brother preceded her.
