Melfin Lee ARBOGAST, 77, died at his home near the Eldon Y yesterday morning. Campbell Funeral Chapel in Batavia; Rev. Leonard Sammons in charge of services. Bur. Batavia Cemetery.

Born Apr. 9, 1878, in McLean Co., Ill., was son of Martin & Rhoda BALL ARBOGAST. He moved to Iowa in 1899 and was married at Ottumwa Apr. 19, 1911, to Mattie Isabelle WILSON who survives. The couple made their home on the same farm since their marriage. Also survived by a daughter Mrs. Olen MULLIKIN, Brighton; a son, Earl, at home, and two grandsons. Two brothers, True W. ARBOGAST of Batavia, and John R. ARBOGAST of Ottumwa, also survive. Preceded in death by one son, a brother and a sister.
