ABINGDON. At the home of Mr. Greeley HANDSAKER in Story Co., Iowa, July 25, 1904, occurred the death of James E. ALVERSON, oldest son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph ALVERSON.

Born May 12, 1884, and grew to manhood in Locust Grove Twp.... Laid to rest (at Bladensburg) by the side of a baby brother who met death by being kicked by a colt just seven years ago......
