Harold Frederick "Chuck" Cassel, long time resident of Fairfield, died yesterday afternoonat his home, 107 W.Adamas.

Services will be conducted at Hoskins Funeral Home, with buriel in New Sweden Methodist Cemetery west of Four Corners.

He was employed at Louden Machinery Company for 17 years before he was forced to retire due to ill health. Charter member of the Lyons Club.

Born 8 Dec 1889 in Kearney, Nebraska, son of the late J.W. Cassel and Pauline Sandquist. He made his home in Fairfield since childhood.

Married in Aug 1930 to Blanche Hawthorne, in Kahoka Missouri. She survives him.
