Pertiller P. Whitson died near Ioka 29th ult., age 82. Native of White Co., Tenn., came to Keokuk County in 1848 when 13 (?) years of age. Among his surviving children are Mrs. Marion Stephenson and Mrs. Carry McPherson of this county.
