Roman R. Czerwinski, 79, of Glen Ellyn, Ill., died Thursday, Nov. 3, 2005.

Services and burial were private. Williams-Kampp Funeral Home in Wheaton, Ill., was in charge of the arrangements.

Mr. Czerwinski was born in Milwaukee. He was a professor at Parsons College and served as Chairman of the Rhetoric Department from 1966 to 1973, when the college closed. He also was a veteran of the Korean War.

Survivors include two sons, Roman T. Czerwinski; Bill Czerwinski and wife Janice; three daughters, Janet Ungs and husband Kelly; Berta Williams and husband Greg; and Linda Czerwinski; and 10 grandchildren.
