HOLLANDER last rites

Last rites for Irene E. HOLLANDER, 88, of Route 1 were held today at 2 p.m. at First Lutheran Church with the Rev. Lenwood Monte in charge. Interment was at Evergreen Cemetery.

Mrs. HOLLANDER had been a resident of Good Samaritan Home in Keosauqua for several years.

Born March 1890 near Salina, she was the daughter of Alsin L. and Huldah BURGASON HILLMAN. She was a graduate of Fairfield High School and attended Parsons College. On Nov. 15, 1916 she married Paul C. HOLLANDER who preceded her in death on Dec. 26, 1968.

She was a former member of the New Sweden Methodist Church, and was a member of First Lutheran Church of Fairfield.

Surviving are two sons, Paul Jr., of New Sharon and Max of Fairfield, 1 grandson and two granddaughters, a great-granddaughter and a brother, Harper HILLMAN of Fairfield. She was preceded in death by three sisters.

The family received friends Sunday evening at the Raymond Funeral Home. Memorials may go to the First Lutheran Church.
