Miss HOLCOMB Rites Monday

Committal services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Monday in Evergreen Cemetery for Frances "Toots" HOLCOMB, 65, former resident of Fairfield.

The Rev. Wayne Bartruff will officiate and the Raymond Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Last rites will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at Highland Park Funeral Home in Des Moines.

Miss HOLCOMB died at 6 a.m. today in Iowa Methodist Hospital in Des Moines of a cerebral hemorrhage (note: in Polk Co., IA).

Frances HOLCOMB was born Jan. 4, 1910, in Fairfield, the daughter of William P. and Elsie STANSBERRY HOLCOMB. She was reared and educated in Fairfield and attended Parsons College.

She lived in Des Moines for 33 years and at Waukee for 10 years. She retired last month as office manager of Haniver Body and Paint Shop in Waukee.

Miss HOLCOMB was a member of the United Methodist Church in Fairfield and had been active in the Women's Bowling Association in Des Moines.
