Attention Odd Fellows.

There will be a called meeting, of Fairfield Lodge No 629 I. O. O. F. This evening at 7:30, to arrange for the funeral of our late Brother Jerome HISEL, all are earnestly requested to come out.

Stricken in Young Manhood.

Louis Jerome, son of Mr. and Mrs. Louis HISEL, died at the home of his parents in this city at midnight October 30th. He had been ill only two weeks and his condition was not considered serious until a short time before he was taken away. Mr. HISEL was born in Fairfield township, this county, December 4th, 1881, and nearly all his life had been spent here. When he was taken ill he was in the employ of the Rock Island railway as a fireman. Mr. HISEL was a young man of exemplary habits, industrious and popular with his associates. He was a member of the Mt. Olivet Cumberland Presbyterian church and of Fairfield lodge, No. 629, I. O. O. F. In this sad affliction the sympathy of the community will go out to the parents and the brothers and sistes. Funeral services were held Thursday afternoon at the home on West Washington street, conducted by Rev. W. Luther Bright. The body was interred with the honors of Odd Fellowship. Mr. and Mrs. HISEL and members of their family desire to return their thanks to the friends who showed them so many kindnesses in their hours of trouble.
