Glen I. HISEL

Glen I. HISEL, 87, Route 3, died at 7:50 a.m. July 18, 1992, at Jefferson County Hospital.

The service will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Behner Funeral Home with the Rev. David Kennedy officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. Family visitation will be from 7 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to donor's choice.

HISEL was born Sept. 15, 1904, in Jefferson County, the son of Arthur W. and Della VAUGHT HISEL. He married M. Elizabeth KELLER on June 27, 1956, in Fairfield. He had lived his life in Jefferson County, was a farmer in Cedar Township before his retirement and was a member of First United Methodist Church.

Surviving are his wife; a daughter, Mildred FERGUSON of Keosauqua; two sons, Gerald E. of Cloquet, Minn., and Steven A. of Richland; three stepdaughters, Wanda McCLARD of Jackson, Mo., Betty TOPPING of North Bend, Wash., Shirley RYAN of Marble Hill, Mo.; a stepson, F. Sam KELLER of Fairfield; six grandchildren; 17 stepgrandchildren; two great-grandchildren; 29 stepgreat-grandchildren; 1 step-great-great-grandson; and a sister, Velma SCKEE of Mount Pleasant. He was preceded in death by a daughter and a brother, both in infancy, and three stepgrandchildren.
