Page 2, Column 3MRS. L. P. HILTON PASSED AWAY TODAY
Msr. L. P. HILTON, a well known resident of this city, passed away this morning at 9 o'clock at her home on West Burlington street, after an illness of several years duration.
Louisa M. HILTON was the daughter of Benjamin and Louisa GASAWAY and was born in Kentucky January 18, 1848.
She was united in marriage to L. P. HILTON, who, with two brothers, Thomas GASAWAY of Brighton and John GASAWAY of Fairfield, and one sister, Mrs. Caroline GIBSON, also of this city survive her.
The funeral services will be held tomorrow at two o'clock from the home in charge of Rev. R. H. Polly of the Christian church, and niterment (sic) will be in Evergreen cemetery.

Mrs. L. P. HILTON died at her home in this city Monday after an illness extending over a number of years, at the age of seventy. She was well known and highly esteemed.
Mrs. HILTON was born in Kentucky in 1848. She is survived by her husband and two brothers, Thomas GASAWAY, of Brighton, and John GASAWAY, of Fairfield; also by a sister, Mrs. Craoline (sic) GIBSON, of Fairfield.
Funeral services were held Tuesday at the home, conducted by Rev. Polly.
