Yesterday Afternoon From The Home at 705 South Sixth StreetMany friend and relatives paid their last respects to the memory of Mrs. Mack E. HILL yesterday afternoon at the last rites held at the home, 705 South Sixth Street, at 2 o'clock. Rev. R. H. Polly officiated.
Mrs. Norvell Switzer and Mrs. William Stever sang the songs(.) The pall bearers were: Milton Jones, Charles Steele, Gus C. Unkrich, Grant Gire, Sam Burnett and W. Arthur Sirdoreus. Interment was in the Evergreen cemetery.
Ms. S. H. PAUL of Muscatine, Mrs. Robert HILL and son, Mr. and Mrs. David HILL and Mr and Mrs. John HILL and family of Merrimac were here for the services.

Julia FREEMAN HILL, daughter of William and Julia FREEMAN, was born in London, England, March 14, 1874, and departed this life at the Jefferson county hospital, Fairfield, Iowa, October 28, 1928.
On December 14, 1893 she was united in marriage to Mack E. HILL and to this union were born five children, two having died in infancy.
She is survived by her husband, three children, Frank, Raymond and Mrs. Clarence TEETER all of this city, three grandsons and two sisters, Mrs. S. H. PAUL of Muscatine and Mrs. John WEYGANDT of this city.
In early life she united with the Methodist church of Four Corners.
Funeral service was conducted from the home. 705 South Fourth street, Tuesday afternoon at two o'clock by Rev. R. H. Polly. Mrs. William Stever and Mrs. Norvell Switzer sang "Beautiful Isle" and "Going Down the Valley." The pall bearers were: Milton Jones, Gus C. Unkrich, Charles Steel, Grant Gire Sam Burnett and W. Arthur Sidoreus (sic - Sirdoreus). Interment was in the Evergreen cemetery.
