MRS. HIGBY PASSES AWAY AT HOME HERE

Mrs. Rosetta HIGBY, 80, long time resident of Fairfield, passed away suddenly this morning around 1:26 o'clock at her home, at 204 North Fifth street.

The body was taken to the Weston Behner Funeral Home pending funeral arrangements.

Mrs. HIGBY was born September 18, 1863 in Carthage, Ill. She was the daughter of the late Martin and Mary THURBER.

She was united in marriage on September 6, 1883 to Frank HIGBY, who preceded her in death in 1941.

Mrs. HIGBY is survived by two daughters, Mrs. R. R. SCHROEDER of Marengo, Mrs. Jay BUSBY of Shenandoah; and one son, Harry M. HIGBY of Mt. Pleasant.

She is also survived by ten grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, one sister and three brothers.

Service of Mrs. HIGBY Saturday Afternoon

Funeral services for Mrs. Rosetta HIGBY, who passed away suddenly early yesterday morning, will be held at 2:30 o'clock Saturday afternoon from the Weston Behner Funeral home.

The Rev. S. P. Williamson, pastor of the Fairfield First Christian church, of which Mrs. HIGBY had been a long time member, will be in charge of the services.

Burial will take place in the Evergreen cemetery beside her husband, Frank HIGBY, who preceded her in death in 1941.

Mr. and Mrs. R. R. SCHROEDER of Marengo; Mr. and Mrs. Jay BUSBY and family of Shenandoah and Mr. and Mrs. Harry HIGBY of Mt. Pleasant have arrived for the services. Mrs. SCHROEDER, Mrs. BUSY and Mr. HIGBY are children of Mrs. HIGBY.
