PHILIP HERSHBERGER

Philip HERSHBERGER was born in Lancaster, Ohio, 1842 and passed away Nov. 17, 1925 at the age of 82 years.

He came to Iowa with his parents in 1856, settling near Germanville, later he made his home with his mother, and a sister in Centralia, Kansas, having never married.

One sister, Mrs. J. O. SPIELMAN, survives and on account of her health, a private service was held Thursday a. m, conducted by Rev. George Parker of the Lutheran church, burial in Evergreen cemetery.

Mr. HERSHBERGER was of a retiring disposition, but had a smile for everyone and loved by all who knew him.
