James Oval "Jim" Horner, 62, of 801 W. Depot Ave., died early Sunday, Oct. 23, 2005, at his home.

The body has been cremated. No services are planned.

Friends are invited to stop by the family residence between 2-6 p.m. Wednesday at 801 W. Depot Ave.

Raymond Funeral Home in Fairfield is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Horner was born March 29, 1943, in Perryville, Tenn., the son of Auburn Hall and Malera Hicks Horner.

Mr. Horner had lived in Fairfield since 1993. He was a machinist, having worked for the Nelson Company before his retirement.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include three sons, James Michael Horner of Rochester, N.Y., Justin D. and Christopher Horner of Florida; two daughters, Candance Horner of Paducah, Ky., and Wendy Horner of Peoria, Ill.; three grandchildren; one brother, Jerry W. Horner of Fairfield; and two sisters, Ann French of Fairfield and Bettye Hendricks of Manteno, Ill.
