Earl HENNESS Dies Suddenly

Earl F. HENNESS, 65, retired Fairfield businessman, died suddenly Sunday at 8 a.m. at his home one-half mile southeast of Fairfield. He had been in failing health for several years.

Services will be held Wednesday at 2:30 p.m. at the Weston Behner Funeral home in charge of the Rev. J. Roland Crandall. Burial will be in Evergreen cemetery.

HENNESS had been a resident of Fairfield for 54 years. He operated a lumber yard for many years. He was born June 15, 1897 at Ottumwa, the son of Charles and Maude JOSEPH HENNESS. He was married to Ada WIREMAN March 24, 1914. He was a member of the First First Christian church (sic) of Otttumwa.

Surviving are his wife; his mother, Mrs. Maude HENNESS, Ottumwa; one brother, Glen HENNESS, Oxnard, Calif.; and one sister Helen HENNESS, Fairfield. His father preceded him in death.

Notice Is Hereby Given, that the undersigned has been duly appointed and qualified as Executor of the estate of Earl HENNESS deceased, late of Jefferson County. All persons indebted to said estate are requested to make immediate payment, and those having claims against the same will present them within legal time duly authenticated, to the undersigned, for allowance and file in the office of the Clerk of the District Court.
