Roy HENDRICKS, 65, veteran employe of the Fairfield Glove Co., died Saturday at 2:32 p.m. at the Jefferson County hospital.
HENDRICKS, 605 E. Adams, had been seriously ill for three weeks. He entered the hospital last Wednesday.
Services will be held Tuesday at 10 a.m. at the Weston Behner Funeral home in charge of the Rev. Ronald Kinzler. Burial wil be in Evergreen cemetery.
HENDRICKS has been a resident of Fairfield for 50 years. He was employed at the Fairfield Glove Co. for 21 years.
HENDRICKS was born July 1, 1896 at Birmingham, the son of George W. and Mary KENNEDY HENDRICKS. He was married to Eva BURKE Oct. 4, 1915 at Fairfield.
Surviving are his wife, two sons, Joe HENDRICKS, Reseda, Calif.; and Leonard HENDRICKS, Fairfield; and a great nephew, Danny HARRISON, who was reared by Mr. and Mrs. HENDRICKS.
Other survivors are five grandchildren and the following brothers and sisters: Earl F. HENDRICKS, Alexandria, La., Paul HENDRICKS, Reseda, Calif.; Mrs. Clarence NICHOLS, Fairfield; and Mrs. Helen JUNKIN, Reseda, Calif.
One brother and one sister preceded him in death.
