Wilson HEFLIN Rites Friday

Wilson R. HEFLIN, well known retired factory executive, died at 5:45 a.m. today at the Fairfield Convalescent Home where he had been a patient since Sept. 16, 1967.

Lat rites will be held Friday at 2 p.m. at the Raymond Funeral Home with the Rev. Wilson Hyde officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.

Wilson R. HEFLIN, 76, was born Aug. 21, 1892, in Fairfield, the son of Perry and Jennie WILSON HEFLIN. He was reared and educated in Fairfield and was a graduate of the Fairfield High School and Parsons College.

For a number of years he served as secretary and treasurer of the Iowa Malleable Iron Company, retiring in October, 1959. He also served as vice president of the Jefferson County Building and Loan; he was a member of the Jefferson County Hospital Board, a member of the United Methodist Church; a 50-year member of the Masons, Chapter and Commandery, Eastern Star, White Shrine and Elks.

He was united in marriage on Sept. 17, 1921, in Mount Pleasant to Pauline CLINKENBEARD who survives. He is also survived by a sister, Mrs. Leland PAIGE (sic - PAGE), Ottumwa, and several nieces and nephews.

HEFLIN Funeral Will Be Friday

Last rites for Wilson R. HEFLIN, 76, will be Friday at 2 p.m. at the Raymond Funeral Home with the Rev. Wilson Hyde officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.

HEFLIN passed away at 5:45 a.m. Wednesday at the Fairfield Convalescent Home where he had been a patient since Sept. 16, 1967.

Survivors include his wife, the former Pauline CLINKENBEARD; and a sister, Mrs. Leland PAGE, Ottumwa.

NOTICE OF PROBATE OF WILL, OF APPOINTMENT OF EXECUTOR, AND NOTICE TO CREDITORS

In The District Court Of The State Of Iowa In And For Jefferson County

In The Matter Of The Estate Of Wilson R. HEFLIN, Deceased.

To All Persons Interested In The Estate of Wilson R. HEFLIN, Deceased:

You are hereby notified that on the 9th day of October, 1968, the last will and testament of Wilson R. HEFLIN deceased bearing date of the 20th day of Janaury, 1966, was admitted to probate in the above named court and that Pauline C. HEFLIN was appointed executor of said estate.

Notice is further given that any action to set aside said will must be brought in the district court of said county within one year from the date of the second publication of this notice, or thereafter be forever barred.

Notice is further given that all persons indebted to said estate are requested to make immediate payment to the undersigned, and creditors having claims against said estate shall file them with the clerk of the above named district court, as provided by law, duly authenticated, for allowance; and unless so filed within six months from the second publication of this notice (unless otherwise allowed or paid) such claim shall thereafter be forever barred.
