Mrs. HAVEL, 71, Taken In Death

Mrs. Mary HAVEL, 71, 505 W. Grimes, died at 7:55 a.m. today at the Jefferson County Hospital following a serious illness of one week.

Services will be held Friday at 9 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. Prayers for a Christian wake will be said Thursday at 8:30 p.m. at the Raymond Funeral Home.

Mrs. HAVEL was born Jan. 20, 1895, in Chicago, Ill., the daughter of John and Albina LESTINA. She was reared and educated in Chicago. She was married to Melo HAVEL Nov. 18, 1914.

Surviving are her husband and two daughters, Mrs. Mae JANECEK, Washington; and Emma HAVEL, Fairfield. One sister, Mrs. Rose KIRK, Oak Lawn, Ill.; and one granddaughter also survive.

Mrs. HAVEL was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church and the Altar and Rosary Society.
