Blanche HENDRICKS

Blanche Hendricks, 78, of Ranch Trailer Court, died at 10 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 19, 2005, in her home.

The funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Behner Funeral Home, with the Rev. Dave Peterson officiating.

Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.

Family visitation will be from 2-4 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.

Mrs. HENDRICKS was born April 28, 1927, the daughter of Louis and Mabel SPEER DROZ. She married Leonard "Bud" HENDRICKS Aug. 29, 1964, in Fairfield. He died Nov. 2, 1998.

Mrs. HENDRICKS lived all her life in the Fairfield area, graduating from Fairfield High School. She was the general relief director and the Veteran's Affairs Administrator since November of 1982.

Her pastimes included caring for cats, shopping and having coffee with friends at Fairfield Family Restaurant.

Survivors include one stepdaughter, Carol Ann CLOYED of Moravia; and one stepson, Michael HENDRICKS.

Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; five brothers, Harley, Lloyd, Clarence, Charles and Dale HENDRICKS; and two sisters, Myrna DROZ and Esther JACQUIN.
