Page THREE, Column 3DIES TODAY AT HOSPITAL
Mrs. W. E. HARRIS, prominent Fairfield resident, passed away at the Jefferson county hospital this morning at 11:45 a.m. where she had been a patient since November 16th. She had been in failing health the past several years.
She was the widow of the late William E. HARRIS, clothier in Fairfield for many years. He preceded her in death several years ago.
The body was taken to the Monger funeral home where last rites are pending arrival of relatives.

Last rites will be Thursday at 2 p.m. for Mrs. W. E. HARRIS, 84, well known Fairfield resident who passed away yesterday morning. The services will be held at the Munger funeral home with Dr. L. H. Scheerer in charge. Burial will be in Evergreen cemetery.
Mrs. HARRIS died of a heart ailment at 11:45 a.m. at the Jefferson county hospital where she had been a patient since November 16. She had been in failing health for several months.
She was born October 7, 1862, at Washington, Iowa, the daughter of the late Jacob B. and Rosetta STINSON. She married William E. HARRIS on July 31, 1883, who preceded her in death. For several years Mr. HARRIS was a well known and successful clothier in Fairfield.
Mrs. HARRIS had been a resident of Fairfield for 63 years. She was a member of the Pythian Sisters for many years and took an active part in its activities until her failing health forced her to discontinue her membership.
She is survived by a daughter, Rosalie DAY, Minneapolis, Minn.; and a son, Carl E. HARRIS, Wilmette, Illinois.

Page 2, Column 8W. C. ANDERSON FAMILY MOVES INTO HARRIS HOME
Mr. and Mrs. W. C. Anderson have purchased the Mrs. W. E. HARRIS home, 105 S. 3rd St., and have moved with their son, Robert and daughter, Miss Edna Turner, to their new residence. The Anderson home south of town near the airport has been purchased by the Frank Cornells who will take possession later this week.
Mrs. Carl HARRIS, daughter-in-law of the late Mrs. HARRIS, remained until estate matters were completed, returning to her home in Chicago on Friday.
