STACEY HARPER DROPS DEAD IN CHICAGO PARK

Old Fairfield resident had just gone to Chicago for short visit

Stacey HARPER, former Fairfield resident, dropped dead in Lincoln Park, Chicago, Ill., last night. His body was identified and will be returned to Fairfield today.

Mr. HARPER, who was 63 years old, went to Chicago last Wednesday for a short visit, and had intended to return to Fairfield tomorrow. An old resident here, he formerly lived at 507 North 4th street. Since the death of his sister, Mrs. J. M. BLOUGH, hehad (sic) kept house for the past five years for Mr. BLOUGH at the home on Glasgow road, southeast of Fairfield. Prior to that time he had been a waiter in a Chicago club for many years.

Chicago police traced the body after its discovery in Lincoln Park, through letters from J. M. BLOUGH, Fairfield Route I-A, and a bankbook on a Fairfield bank.

Mr. HARPER, a bachelor, is survived by his brother-in-law, and two nephews John and Joe BLOUGH. He was preceded in death by his parents Mr. and Mrs. John HARPER.

The body will be brought this evening to the Hoskins Funeral Home. Services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, in charge of Rev. S. P. Williamson. Interment will be in Evergreen cemetery.
