Ralph E. HARPER Rites Wednesday

Ralph E. HARPER, longtime resident of the Fairfield Community, died at 1:20 a.m. today at the Jefferson County Hospital.

The Rev. E. Wayne Ryan will officiate at the funeral services which have been set for 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Weston Behner Funeral Home. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.

Ralph E. HARPER is a native of Henry County. He was born April 2, 1882, the son of Catherine CORABAUGH (sic) HARPER. He was married to Mabel E. SMITH Nov. 3, 1909. She preceded him in death May 17, 1925.

HARPER is survived by one son, Weston S. HARPER, with whom he made his home at 600 W. Depot; two daughters, Mrs. Wilbur SMITH, Fairfield, and Mrs. Walter GRAY also of Fairfield; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. He was the last of a family of eight children.

In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by one son, three brothers and four sisters.
