Mrs. Benna G. HARLAN, 87, 308 E. Washington, died Wednesday at 5 p.m. at the Nelson Nursing Home. She had resided there for the past five months.
Services will be held Friday at 1:30 p.m. at the Raymond Funeral Home with the Rev. J. E. Dorman officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.
Mrs. HARLAN was born Aug. 2, 1888 in Jefferson County, the daughter of John and Mary Elizabeth WILLIAMS WATSON. She was reared and educated near Glasgow. She was married Feb. 23, 1910 to Chester HARLAN. Her husband preceded her in death March 25, 1964.
Mrs. HARLAN was a member of the First Christian Church. She is survived by one son, LaVerne HARLAN, Mount Pleasant; one grandson, one sister, Mrs. Mae PEEBLER, Medford, Ore., and one brother, John WATSON, Glasgow.
One grandson, three sisters and three brothers are deceased.

TO ALL PERSONS INTERESTED IN THE ESTATE OF BENNA G. HARLAN, DECEASED:
YOU ARE HEREBY NOTIFIED THAT ON THE 11TH DAY OF FEBRUARY, 1976, THE LAST WILL AND TESTAMENT OF BENNA G. HARLAN DECEASED BEARING DATE OF THE 8TH DAY OF APRIL, 1964, WAS ADMITTED TO PROBATE IN THE ABOVE NAMED COURT AND THAT LAVERNE W. HARLAN WAS APPOINTED EXECUTOR OF SAID ESTATE.
NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN THAT ANY ACTION TO SET ASIDE SAID WILL MUST BE BROUGHT IN THE DISTRICT COURT OF SAID COUNTY WITHIN SIX MONTHS FROM THE DATE OF THE SECOND PUBLICATION OF THIS NOTICE, OR THEREAFTER BE FOREVER BARRED.
NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN THAT ALL PERSONS INDEBTED TO SAID ESTATE ARE REQUESTED TO MAKE IMMEDIATE PAYMENT TO THE UNDERSIGNED, AND CREDITORS HAVING CLAIMS AGAINST SAID ESTATE SHALL FILE THEM WITH THE CLERK OF THE ABOVE NAMED DISTRICT COURT, AS PROVIDED BY LAW, DULY AUTHENTICATED, FOR ALLOWANCE; AND UNLESS SO FILED WITHIN SIX MONTHS FROM THE SECOND PUBLICATION OF THIS NOTICE (UNLESS OTHERWISE ALLOWED OR PAID) SUCH CLAIM SHALL THEREAFTER BE FOREVER BARRED.
