Page 2, Column 1MRS. WM. HALFERTY DIED AT HER HOME THIS MORNING
Mrs. William HALFERTY passed away about eleven o'clock this morning at her home on South Second street. Mrs. HAFELRTY (sic) had been in poor health for several years, suffering from kidney trouble and heart trouble, and her condition had been serious for several weeks.
The funeral services will be held Wednesday afternoon at two o'clock from the residence. The body will be laid to rest in Evergreen cemetery.
Mrs. HALFERTY spent the most of her life on a farm near Libertyville, moving to Fairfield about two years ago. She leaves to mourn her death, her husband and six children, Mrs. Fred WRAY of this city, Mrs. Faye RIGGS of Libertyville, Mrs. Verne HALL of Birmingham, the Misses Bertha and Helen and Bruce HALFERTY, all at home. Also one sister, Mrs. BITNER of Idaho.

Mrs. W. E. HALFERTY, one of Fairfield's most estimable ladies, died at her home on South Second street last Monday morning after a protracted illness.
Minnie J. BALDERSON, was born near Brighton, Feb. 12, 1862. She was married to W. E. HALFERTY June 12, 1883, after which they lived upon a farm near Libertyville until about two years ago when they moved to Fairfield. Early in life she joined the Methodist church and in all the years since has been a faithful and consistent member. She is survived by her husband and six children, Mrs. Fay RIGGS of Libertyville, Mrs. Vern HALL of Birmingham, Mrs. Fred WRAY, of Fairfield, Bertha F., Helen and Bruce at home.
Funeral services were held from the family home Wednesday afternoon, with Rev. C. L. Tennant in charge. She was buried in Evergreen cemetery.
