Guy GRINSTEAD Succumbs In West, Burial To Be Here

Guy GRINSTEAD, well known retired Jefferson county farmer, passed away last evening at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Clyde UNKRICH, in Sacramento, Calif., where he had been residing since last September. He had been in failing health for some time.

According to a telegram received here by Mr. UNKRICH's father, Gus UNKRICH, the body is being shipped here for burial. The Clyde UNKRICHes will be unable to return for the services, it was stated.

Besides Mrs. UNKRICH (Irma), he is survived by another daughter, Mrs. Carl DANIELSON (Bee) of Ottumwa. No details as to funeral arrangements have been completed.

GRINSTEAD Services To Be Held Tuesday

Funeral services for Guy GRINSTEAD will be held at the Hoskins Funeral home at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday. Rev. A. P. Keast will be in charge and interment will be at Evergreen cemetery.

Mr. GRINSTEAD passed away Thursday evening at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Clyde UNKRICH. He died as the result of influenza and other complications. The body will arrive from Sacramento Monday morning and will be taken to the Hoskins Funeral home.

He is survived by his daughter, Mrs. Clyde UNKRICH of Sacramento and Mrs. Carl DANIELSON of Ottumwa; two brothers, George and Ed GRINSTEAD of New London; one half brother, Amos PORTER of Mt. Pleasant; and one sister, Mrs. Julia FETTERMAN of New London.
