Suffered stroke of paralysis on November 13
Mrs. John A. GRIMES, 81, 302 N. 'C' St. passed away this morning at 12:15 o'clock at the Jefferson county hospital. She suffered a stroke of paralysis at her home on Nov. 13 and was brought to the hospital three days later. She had been in critical condition since her arrival at the hospital.
Funeral services will be held at the Murray Funeral home on Wednesday afternoon at 2:00 p.m. Interment will be in Evergreen cemetery.
Surviving relatives include one half sister and Mrs. Eva LAWSON of Keosauqua, several nephews and nieces.
Mrs. GRIMES was a member of the Methodist church.
