Elmer GREINER, 58, of Route 1, Fairfield, died this morning at Jefferson County hospital where he had been a patient since Sunday. He was a farmer in the Glasgow community.
The body is at Raymond's Funeral home where last rites are pending.

Last rites will be Thursday afternoon for Elmer C. GREINER, route 1, Fairfield, who died about 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, at the Jefferson county hospital.
The services will be at 2 p.m. tomorrow at the Raymond funeral home with the Rev. Ronald Kinzler in charge. Burial will be in Evergreen cemetery.
GREINER had been in failing health for the past year and became seriously ill Saturday. He entered the hospital Saturday evening.
He had been a resident of Jefferson county for the past 40 years and for the past 12 years had worked at the county ASC office.
Elmer Charles GREINER, 58, was born Feb. 20, 1905, at Harper, Iowa, the son of Charles and Florence HUBBS GREINER. He was reared and educated at Galena, Ill., and was married Feb. 28, 1926, to Nancy CAVIN who survives. The wedding took place at Clear Creek church.
In addition to his wife, GREINER is survived by one son, Joseph, Fairfield; and two daughters, Mrs. William SCHUCHMANN and Mrs. Harold NORTON, both of Fairfield. Other survivors include 10 grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Bessie JOHNSON, Dubuque, and Sylvia who lives in California; three brothers, Alvin, Roy and Harlan, all of Galena, Ill.

Jefferson County ss.To All Whom It May Concern:
You Are Hereby Notified, That an instrument of writing purporting to be the last Will and Testament of Elmer C. GREINER, deceased, dated July 5, 1962 having been this day filed, opened and read, Monday the 8th day of April, 1963, is fixed for hearing proof of same at the Court House in Fairfield, Iowa, before the District Court of said County, or the Clerk of said Court; and at 9:30 o'clock a.m. of the day above mentioned all persons interested are hereby notified and required to appear, and show cause if any they have, why said instrument should not be probated and allowed as and for the last Will and Testament of said deceased.
