Death of Mrs. Laura GREGG.

Last Friday afternoon Mrs. Laura GREGG passed away at her father's home in the northeastern part of the city. Mrs. GREGG had for seven years been a great sufferer from rheumatism and her death came as a release from pain, but to those who loved her the loss is heavy. The immediate cause of her death was pneumonia.

Mrs. GREGG's maiden name was Laura PATTERSON. She was a daughter of John PATTERSON, whose death occurred Tuesday evening of this week, and she was born in Clermont county, Ohio, Feb. 7, 1853. She came to this county with her parents in 1865 and this has always been her home since, with the exception of a few years spent in Kansas just after her marriage with N. W. GREGG on December 8, 1865 (sic - 1875). They returned to Jefferson county in 1881 and about two years later, on Feb. 28, 1883, occurred the death of Mr. GREGG. For a number of years past Mrs. GREGG had made her home with her father on east Kirkwood St.

The funeral services were conducted at the PATTERSON home by Rev. Leander Lane Monday morning at eleven o'clock.
