Funeral Services Sunday Afternoon From The Home; Interment at Evergreen
Mrs. Manuel (sic - Emanuel) GREENUP passed away last night at 12:15 o'clock at her home, 108 East Adams street. Mrs. GREENUP had retired in her usual good health and her daughter, Jessie, who was sleeping in an adjoining room was awakened, to find her mother in a very critical condition. Death was probably due to heart trouble. Funeral services will be held from the home Sunday afternoon in charge of Rev. B. F. Hubbard of Clarinda, former pastor of this city. Interment will be made at Evergreen cemetery. Laura GREENUP was born September 22, 1860, in Lincoln county Missouri. She came to this city in 1883. Her husband and one daughter Mrs. Jessie ARMISTEAD and one granddaughter, Edna, survive her.

On account of being unable to make satisfactory arrangements the funeral of Mrs. GREENUP will be held Monday afternoon at 2:30 at the Bethel A. M. E. church. Rev. B. F. Hubbard will have charge of the service assisted by the local pastor, Rev. R. B. Manley.

Large Number In Attndance (sic) and Beautiful Floral Offerings In Abundance
Funeral services for Mrs. Laura GREENUP were held yesterday afternoon from the A. M. E. church and were in charge of Rev. B. F. Hubbard of Clarinda assisted by Rev. R. B. Manley of this city. The following songs were sung by Mrs. Ida Dabner, Misses Thelma and Stella Dabner, Mrs. R. B. Turner and L. P. Quinn , "Beautiful Isle of Somewhere," "Shall We Meet," "Over the River," and "It Is Well With My Soul."
Those who served as pall bearers were, William and Raymond Dabner, Will Bennings, George Coleson, William Smith and George Edwards. The large number of beautiful floral offerings which were sent, signified the high esteem in which Mrs. GREENUP was held. Interment was made at Evergreen.
