PRIVIA Funeral At Keosauqua

KEOSAUQUA -- Mrs. Gertrude E. PRIVIA, 57, died just after noon Thursday at the Van Buren County home.

The body is at the Catcott Funeral Home in Keosauqua where services will be held Saturday morning at 10 a.m. in charge of Father Jonathan Simmons of Fairfield St. Mary Catholic church.

Mrs. PRIVIA was born October 4, 1913 in Keokuk. Her first husband, Arthur M. GREENIG, was killed in action in World War II. She was later married to Richard PRIVIA.

Surviving are one son, Arthur M. GREENIG Jr., Route 1 Fairfield; one daughter, Betty GREENIG, and four grandchildren.

In The Matter Of The Estate Of Gertrude E. PRIVIA, Deceased.

To All Persons Interested In The Estate of Gertrude E. PRIVIA Deceased:

You are hereby notified that on the 13 day of July, 1971, the undersigned was appointed administrator of said estate. Notice is hereby given that all persons indebted to said estate are requested to make immediate payment to the undrsigned and creditors having claims against said estate shall file them with the clerk of the above named district court, as provided by law, duly authenticated, for allowance, and unless so filed by six months from the second publication of this notice (unless otherwise allowed or paid) such claims shall thereafter be forever barred.

GREENIG was killed in action in Luxembourg December 27, 1944, and buried in Luxembourg American Cemetery in Hamm, Luxembourg. Second husband Richard S. PRIVIA died in 2003 and is buried in Des Moines, Polk Co., IA.
