Page 2, Column 3MORRISON GREEN DIED LAST NIGHT.
Morrison B. GREEN died last night at the home of his sister Mrs. S. T. CAVINESS on East Lowe street after an illness extending over a period of two years. The immediate cause of his death was Brights disease. Mr. GREEN was well and favorably known in Fairfield and Jefferson county.
Mr. GREEN was born in Edinburg, Ohio, March 8, 1838, but had spent most of his life in Washington county, Iowa, near Riverside. He is survived by one daughter Miss Nellie GREEN of this city and three brothers, Norvell GREEN of Glendale, Joseph of Los Angeles, Cal., and James of Alton, Kansas, and two sisters Mrs. E. E. STEELE of Riverside and Mrs. S. T. CAVINESS of this city.
No arrangements have as yet been made for the funeral owing to the fact that relatives and friends from a distance are expected. The service will probably be held Wednesday.

Morrison GREEN died Sabbath night at the home of his sister, Mrs. S. T. CAVINESS, on E. Lowe street after an illness of two years with Bright's disease. Funeral services were held Wednesday.
Morrison B. GREEN was born in Edinburg, Ohio, March 8, 1838, but the greater part of his life was spent near Riverside, Washington County, Iowa. He is survived by one daughter, Miss Nellie GREEN of this city, three brothers, Norvell of Glendale, James of Alton, Kansas, and Joseph of Los Angeles, California, and two sisters, Mrs. E. E. STEELE of Riverside, and Mrs. S. T. CAVINESS of Fairfield.
During the Civil war he served his country as a member of Co. M 4th Iowa Cavalry.
Funeral services were held at his sisters home Wednesday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock conducted by Rev. Ireland and members of the Grand Army Republic Post of this place.
