GREEN RITES NEXT MONDAY

Last rites will be Monday afternoon for Charles W. GREEN, well known Fairfield resident who passed away just before noon yesterday at the Jefferson county hospital.

The services will be at 2 p.m. at the Hoskins funeral home with Dr. L. L. Weis in charge. Burial will in Evergreen cemetery (sic).

He had been ill for the past two weeks and was taken to the hospital last Saturday morning. His death came at 11:45 a.m. yesterday.

Charles Wesley GREEN, 92, was born May 17, 1859, in the Richwoods community northeast of Fairfield. He was the son of the late Wesley and Plantena ALLENDER GREEN.

He lived his entire life in Jefferson county, moving to Fairfield in 1920 from the farm on which he was born. He was a retired farmer and a member of the Methodist church.

Charles GREEN, the last of a family of eight children, was united in marriage to Ella McGAW who preceded her husband in death on Oct. 25 (sic - 28th), 1925. He had lived at 603 N. Main street for the past several years.
