Ruth K. GILMER, 77, native of Fairfield, died at 8:55 a.m. today at the Fairfield Convalescent Home. She had been in failing health for some time and seriously ill the past few days.
Last rites have been tentatively set for 10 a.m. Saturday at the Raymond Funeral Home with the Rev. John Dilley officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.
Ruth K. GILMER was born Nov. 5, 1892 in Fairfield, the daughter of Frank and Susan Kathryn HUGHES GILMER, a pioneer Fairfield family. She was reared and educated in Fairfield and was a member of the Presbyterian Church. Her home was at 501 E. Madison.
Miss GILMER is survived by one brother, James GILMER, Springfield, Mo. She was preceded in death by two sisters and three brothers.

In The District Court Of The State Of Iowa In And For Jefferson County
In The Matter Of The Estate Of Ruth K. GILMER, Deceased.
To All Persons Interested In The Estate of Ruth K. GILMER, Deceased:
You are hereby notified that on the 18th day of March, 1970, the last will and testament of the above named decedent, bearing date of the 30th day of April, 1969, was admitted to probate in the above named court and that James A. GILMER, brother of decedent, was appointed executor of said estate.
Notice is further given that any action to set aside said will must be brought in the District Court of said County within one year from the date of the second publication of this notice, or thereafter be forever barred.
Notice is further given that all persons indebted to said estate are requested to make immediate payment to the undersigned, and creditors having claims against said estate shall file them with the clerk of the above named district court, as provided by law, duly authenticated, for allowance; and unless so filed within six months from the second publication of this notice (unless otherwise allowed or paid) such claim shall thereafter be forever barred.
