Page 3, Column 2MRS. CAROLINE GIBSON WILL BE BURIED HERE TOMORROW
Mrs Caroline GIBSON, for many years a resident of this city, passed away yesterday morning at 9:15 at the home of her son Roy GIBSON, at Davenport (note: in Scott Co., IA). The remains will be brought to this city tomorrow morning and funeral services will be held tomorrow afternoon at two o'clock from Kerrick's Undertaking Parlors.
Caroline GASSOWAY (sic - GASAWAY) was born in Kentucky, July 24, 1843, and in 1874 was united in marriage with Mr. GIBSON, who preceeded her in death several years ago. For many years they made their home on West Grimes street in this city. About a year ago Mrs. GIBSON went to live with her son Roy at Davenport. This son was the conductor on the freight train which was wrecked near Danville last Monday.
Mrs. GIBSON leaves to mourn her death two sons, Roy GIBSON of Davenport and Bert GIBSON of Galesburg, Ill. Also two brothers, John GASSOWAY of this city, and Thomas GASSOWAY of Brighton.

The funeral of Mrs. Caroline GIBSON was held at Kerrick's undertaking parlors yesterday afternoon. Mrs. GIBSON, who was a long-time resident of Fairfield, died at the home of her son, Roy GIBSON, at Davenport, Wednesday.
Caroline GASSOWAY was born in Kentucky in 1843, and in 1874 was married to Mr. GIBSON, who has been dead for several years. Two sons, Roy of Davenport, and Bert of Galesburg, and two brothers, Thos. GASSOWAY of Brighton, and John GASSOWAY of this city, are left to mourn her passing.
