ROSE MARIE RAMBO
Fairfield

Rose Marie RAMBO, 63, a resident of Fairfield, passed away Saturday, August 19, 2023, at Prestige Care Center in Fairfield.

Marie was born December 7, 1959, in Dexter, Missouri, the daughter of Paul and Mary (HOWTON) CRAVENS. She was a 1978 graduate of Fairfield High School. She married David C. RAMBO, January 24, 1991, in Fairfield. Marie proudly served her country in the United States Army and was honorably discharged.

Marie enjoyed her careers in finance and business office. She loved sitting on the deck at home, watching the humming birds come to the feeders. Marie enjoyed gardining, being outdoors, riding ATVs, and spending time with her family.

Those left to honor her memory include her husband, David; children, Michael (Shilo) GAINER of Richland and Teena McKINNEY of Wayland; grandchildren, Jazmyne, Quinton and Dalana GAINER, Rose Secret DAVIS and Shai Lynn McKINNEY; great-grandchild, Brantley GAINER; sister, Emma WELCHER; brothers, James CRAVENS and Charles BIRD; step-brother, Ronnie BIRD; and step-sisters, Rammy WALKER and Julie GARRISON.

She was preceded in death by her parents; step-father, Charlie BIRD; and granddaughter, Sage Elizabeth APLARA.

Friends may call beginning at 2:00 p.m. with visitation for family and friends from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 23, 2023, at Behner Funeral Home in Fairfield. Funeral services celebrating her life will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, August 24, 2023, at Behner Funeral Home with Pastor Danny Cary officiating. Burial will be at Zion Lutheran Cemetery in Douds (note: in Van Buren Co., IA). Memorials may be made to Prestige Care Center or Care Initiatives Hospice.
