Robert Paul SOLHEIM was born on November 8, 1937, the son of Arthur G. and Gertrude E. ERICKSON SOLHEIM, in Decorah, IA. His younger years were spent in Decorah and Fairfield, IA. He was in the U.S. Army for two years and honorably discharged. In 1966 he graduated from the University of Iowa with a degree in law. He married Janet NELSON in 1967 and they had two daughters, Kristin (Manuel) ORTIZ and Cyndi (Keith) ALBERS. His wife, children, five grandchildren, and a sister Myrna CURTIS survive him. His parents and a younger brother, Eric, preceded him. He passed away on December 13, 2021, and was interred in Evergreen Cemetery, Fairfield, IA, in Lot 4th.273.
