Note: There was no obituary for Donna published in the "Southeast Iowa Union / Fairfield Ledger"; Behner Funeral Home had an obituary on their website for her, however, and this posting is an extraction of that.

Donna Irene ESSARY was the daughter of Marvin and Lanora ATWOOD SNOOK, born on June 28, 1931, in Fairfield, IA. She married Donald E. ESSARY in Eldon, IA, in 1947; he died in 1994. She and Donald had four sons: Donald (Virginia), David, Danny, and Denny. Son Donald survives her as do several grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews; her husband Donald and the other three sons have preceded her in death, as have seven brothers and one sister. Donna passed away on August 22, 2022, at the age of 91. She is buried with her husband in Evergreen Cemetery, Fairfield, IA, in Lot 3rd.221.
