Eugene Adams Miksch, 92, of Agency, died at 10:27 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 27, 2005, at the Ottumwa Regional Health Center.

The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Reece Funeral Home. Burial will be in Packwood Cemetery.

Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

Mr. Miksch was born Aug. 10, 1913, near Fairfield, the son of Frank and Myrtle Adams Miksch. He married Margaret C. Rodenmayer July 8, 1934, in Ottumwa. She died June 1, 1998.

Mr. Miksch was a resident of Packwood from 1959 to 1995, he then lived in Hedrick and Agency.

He worked for Merchants Motor Freight and Watson Brothers, and farmed near Packwood before retiring.

Survivors include one son, Larry Miksch of Littleton, Colo.; two daughters, Linda Grimes of Agency and Sally Carr of Harrisonville, Mo.; five grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren.

In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by two grandchildren; and one sister, Gladys Marley.
