NATHANIEL FILLEY DIED AT 9 A.M.
Funeral Services Will Be Held Thursday P.M., in Charge of Dr. C. L. Tennant

Nathaniel FILLEY died this morning about nine o’clock at his home, 108 West Hempstead street. Mr. FILLEY had been in failing health for some time but his death came as a shock to his daughter and friends.

Funeral arrangements have not yet been completed, but will probably be held Thursday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock from the Methodist church in charge of Dr. C. L. Tennant(.) Interment will be made in Evergreen Cemetery.

Nathaniel H. FILEY was born May 30, 1837, in Connecticut state, being at the time of his death 89 years old (sic - 87 yrs). He was a member of Company K, 7th Iowa Volunteers which he joined in 1862, and served three years. His wife died some fifteen years ago, as did also one daughter, Annie. He is survived by one daughter Lolly.

FILLEY FUNERAL WILL BE HELD TOMORROW

Funeral services for Nathaniel FILLEY will be held tomorrow afternoon at the Methodist church in charge of Dr. C. L. Tennant. Interment will be made in the Evergreen cemetery.
