DEATH OF I. N. WILLIAMS.

Mr. WILLIAMS met with a violent death in the following manner: He was a tanner by trade, and while in the army (Co. H, 30 IVI) a man named Kenedy, lately from Missouri, bought the hides or leather from WILLIAMS’ wife, and it is alleged cheated her.

On WILLIAMS' return home he forbid .... from coming into his yard. On the morning of the 13th inst. he found .... in his yard, and attempted to drive him out, when .... drew a large knife and cut him frightfully in the abdomen .... Mr. WILLIAMS lived until Saturday.... His remains were followed to the grave by the Odd Fellows and a large number of the citizens of Brookville and vicinity. He leaves a wife and five or six children.

Broken Tombstone in Moorman Cemetery:
“ISAAC N. WILLIAMS, Died Oct 22 1865 In the 41st year of his age.”
